The band originated from a wager between Alastair and his local landlord. The gauntlet was laid, and Alastair was challenged to form a group in just 6 weeks to perform at a working mens’ club. The nucleus of the band are from a secondary school (Alastair, Adrian & Paul). After 6 weeks the band was ready, and the first gig was played at Sunnybank WMC on 10th February 2007. Amazed with the success of the gig, more followed under the band name ‘Time Out’. In the winter of ‘07 the band line up changed, and with the magical addition of the powerful vocals of Anthony we became ‘About Time’. We have a broad range of songs destined to excite and delight.
